Many new clients come to Impact nervous about what to expect in their first class. There's no need to worry about holding anyone else in the group back, being out of shape, or being the only beginner in the group. Impact is for EVERYONE!

What You Need To Know
Impact Small and Large Group Class Structure
We coach you to perform functional movements at high intensity (relative to your fitness level), giving you a comprehensive full-body workout. In our one-hour group sessions, you'll be lead through skill instruction, strength building, and metabolic conditioning. Classes are trainer-led and peer-driven, providing an excellent mixture of individual coaching and group motivation.
- You’ll begin class with a directed, dynamic warm-up that gets your joints loose, body moving, and your heart pumping.
- Then we’ll discuss and detail the planned workout, whether metabolic or strength. During the strength or skill we teach you how to perform the movement safely, and coach you through any weight technique in a way that will increase your functional strength.
- Finally, we typically conclude our hour with a full-body, well-balanced intense driven workout and/or stretch.
What is a typical workout?
Every day at Impact is different and workouts are constantly varied and unique, ensuring that you always make progress and never get bored. All the while, programs stay in a strategic structure to create periodization.
We combine elements of high intensity body weight movements, Olympic weightlifting, biking, rowing, and running. Some workouts are done for speed, others for maximum effort, all of them are intense, and all are done under our supervision for excellent form. It will be hard, but it will be effective.
The possibilities for fitness here at Impact are endless: Monday, you could be doing pull-ups, and jump rope. Tuesday, you could be doing sled pushes, squats, and handwalks. In a given week, we schedule our programming to include heavy workouts (strength), intense workouts (metabolic), and moderate workouts (bodyfit), all that work on all areas of fitness and eliminate boredom!
